no cause. no effect. silence. no effect. no cause.
setting and participation conditions:
a: a space of 7m length by 7m width will be opened on 12 may 09 at 6 p.m. to all people who are interested in participating in the experiment >>acting from zero<<.
b: anybody entering the 7x7 space becomes part of the experiment >>acting from zero<< whilst inside the space and accepts the conditions.
c: anybody who participates will start acting from zero – whatever the activity might be. “acting / action” will be understood in a wider sense as: internal and external movements, interaction, communication, speech, activities, plots etc.
d: no further tasks; everything starts from zero, everything else will follow. anybody who does not start acting from zero is not actually acting.
e: no mobile phones etc.
f: the first setting on 12 may has no time limit. when the setting closes it closes from zero. we know nothing about it.
g: anybody who is interested in taking part in >>acting from zero<< for a longer time will find a sleeping place at GfKFB. there will be some mattresses as well as a tea kitchen and a shower.
h: ongoing participation in >>acting from zero<< is not a must.
i: after the first opening the 7x7 space will be opened for further >>acting from zero<< every tuesday from 7 to 10 p.m. until 5 august 2009. everybody is warmly invited.
k: this invitiation is not aimed at artists and/or performers only. It is for anyone interested in participating in >>acting from zero<< and who accepts the conditions.
l: recording: inside the 7x7 space there are three cameras. these cameras are not for documentary but for fragmenting the ongoing. camera 1 is recording with a horizontal viewing angle of 47° from a position 4,10m horizontal by 1,80m vertical up to a height of 0,40 m the opposite wall, measured from the entrance-corner of the 7x7 space. camera 2 is recording with a horizontal viewing angle of 47° from a position -1,90m horizontal by 0,20m vertical up to a height of 1,20m the opposite wall, measured from the corner opposite the entrance-corner. camera 3 is recording with a vertical viewing angle of 47° from the 4,0 m ceiling from a position 2,60m horizontal by -3,10m horizontal, measured from the entrance corner. camera 4 is recording with a horizontal viewing angle of 47° in the module 4x2x1 of the super8 (so this camera is outside of the 7x7 space). the recordings of all cameras will be transmitted live on the internet: see www.gfkfb.net.
m: dialogue: we will be offering the opportunity for open dialogue and discussions, outside the 7x7 space on the following dates: 13 may 09 at 4 p.m., and every tuesday from 4-6 p.m. just before the actual >>acting from zero<<.
the discussions will be recorded as audio files and will probably be published as a whole or in excerpts on www.gfkfb.net. please keep in mind that the discussions/dialogues will not take place in the 7x7 space.
